For nearly three decades, Brewhouse Cafe has been more than a bar — it’s been the beating heart of Atlanta’s soccer culture. Since opening its Little Five Points location in 1998, generations of fans have gathered there for matches big and small, from early-morning World Cup group games to Atlanta United playoff nights.

Now, Brewhouse is entering a new chapter. A second location will open in South Downtown Atlanta, just a short walk from Mercedes-Benz Stadium, positioning the pub to become a central hub for the city’s World Cup celebrations next summer.
It's an incredible time ahead and the SDH Network can't wait to be part of the journey.
A Soccer Stronghold
Named the best soccer bar in America by Men in Blazers, Brewhouse has built a reputation on more than just its taps.
Wall-to-Wall Screens: Dozens of TVs ensure fans never miss a kick, whether it’s a Champions League knockout, Premier League derby, or MLS clash.
Global Flavor: Supporters’ groups from across the world — England, Scotland, Italy, Mexico, and more — have long called Brewhouse home.
Early Openings: From 2002’s sunrise World Cup watch parties to today, the bar has never hesitated to open early for the world’s game.
Community Spirit: Beyond matchdays, Brewhouse has hosted charity events, fundraisers, and watch parties that cemented its role in the city.
Atlanta United Connection: Since 2017, the pub has been an unofficial headquarters for Five Stripes fans. Last year, Soccer Down Here partnered with the club to host the 10th Anniversary of Atlanta United’s launch at Brewhouse.
The move to South Downtown brings all that history closer to the stadium, setting the stage for new traditions and bigger crowds.
South Downtown on the Rise
The new Brewhouse will also play a role in the ongoing revitalization of South Downtown. Once dominated by empty buildings and surface lots, the neighborhood is transforming into one of Atlanta’s most vibrant districts.
Food & Drink Revival: Restaurants like El Tesoro and Broad Street BBQ have already brought new life to Broad Street.
Historic Heartbeat: Developers are restoring 56 historic buildings across six city blocks, preserving character while creating modern spaces.
Public Spaces: Plans include a “town square” at Broad & Mitchell Streets, envisioned as a gathering place for dining and events.
Bigger Vision: Local investors are pushing for a live-work-play hub that blends apartments, retail, and cultural spaces into one walkable district.
With the World Cup on the horizon, South Downtown is quickly becoming a focal point for both locals and visitors.
A Matchday Connection
The new Brewhouse is more than just a bar — it’s a matchday landmark.
Fans will be able to walk down MLK Jr. Drive and be at the gates of Mercedes-Benz Stadium in minutes. On game days, expect streets filled with scarves, chants, and the energy of supporters from across the globe.
With eight World Cup matches set for Atlanta, South Downtown is primed to be the epicenter of global soccer culture in the city — where local tradition meets international passion.
The SDH Connection

We’re proud to announce that the SDH Network will be partnering with Brewhouse at the new location. Together, we’ll bring live shows, watch parties, and special events that celebrate the beautiful game and Atlanta’s unique soccer community.
This expansion is more than a new space. It’s a connecting point for everyone in Atlanta soccer — supporters, players, coaches, families, and fans from around the world.
As Brewhouse anchors South Downtown, it won’t just be another bar. It will be the place where Atlanta’s soccer heartbeat is felt the loudest.
