Beyond the Pitch: Ben Alram's Journey to the USA

Ben Alram flew 4,550 miles from where he was raised to come to the USA. From Roujan, France to Oglethorpe, Ben has paved his own path to chase his dream: to be a professional soccer player.

"This opportunity to come to the USA, restart school, play soccer, inside a beautiful city with a lot of fans. With a lot of people who actually like soccer, I was like I'm gonna do that. You have to leave, I left my family when I was 12 years old, so after I came here," said Alram.

It was a journey filled with obstacles, but Ben overcame it all to find his forever home here in Atlanta. His journey to go pro wasn’t just about soccer, it was about finding a family.
