It’s been just over a week since Atlanta United 2’s season officially came to a close, and I wanted to put into words what this year was like — not only to watch, but to cover and call for the 2’s. Holmes MARTA station will bring free soccer access and wraparound community services — from fresh food to financial education — to Atlanta’s West Side.

The Stormy Petrels opened 2025 with five straight wins before falling to No. 2 Emory, showing both growth and grit. With veteran leaders and rising young talent, Oglethorpe looks ready to surprise the Southern Athletic Association this season.
